"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"The moment we opened the door the cottage had embraced us both, we felt welcomed and relaxed. "We loved our stay in Crafters West. Julie was terrific - always responsive and never intrusive. The cottage was private, extremely comfortable and with adorable touches that made it very enjoyable. "What a beautiful setting and property. It was a chilly weekend, but the wood fire inside was fabulous. Looking out over the hills and dam with alpacas, sheep and kangaroos nearby grazing. Lovely and quiet and property had everything we needed with thoughtful touches such as chocolate and bubbly for our arrival. Beds super comfy and location was very convenient between Macclesfield and meadows. Highly recommend this place. "

"This house was so comfortable and with the most beautiful outlook. Everything was just perfect for our stay. Fresh eggs, milk, bread and jam were provided as well as coffee and assortment of tea. The location is close to wineries as well as a short distance to Hahndorf, Stirling and Mt Lofty. Can't wait to stay again!"

"Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment."
