"Location: The property is located centrally. This provides relatively easy driving to the main island sites and the ferry. Not walkable but that is the same for almost everywhere on the island. Staff: Wonderful.and helpful. Room: We had a water view room that had a ground level patio which we took advantage of every eveing. The room is a little dated and could use with updating. "Unfortunately our stay was cut short by bushfire but the day and a half we spent there was nice. It is a great location to explore flinders Chase National park which is magnificent and nearby Hanson Beach is stunning. The retreat even has some small nature walks around the property that we saw some great birdlife on (they have their own bird blind so bring your camera). The bbq area is great and we enjoyed some home cooked steaks so don't be afraid to ask the restaurant to borrow what you need -...
