"We loved the location of Ashendens on the hilltop overlooking the beautiful turquoise waters of Penneshaw. The dolphins were regular visitors and we enjoyed watching them from the deck. My son swam peacefully with them on several occasions. The house has great facilities and the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room is open and spacious, taking advantage of the amazing views of the ocean and mainland. "We had a fantastic time. The house was lovely. The location was peaceful but not too remote. The view was stunning and the terrace was the perfect place to have breakfast each morning. We loved Kangaroo Island and the house was perfect for us. The kids all had their own bedrooms and we loved the endless table tennis in between outings! Thank you."

House is brilliant and provided an amazing entertaining areas that work well for large groups. Craig the groundsman is very helpful and met us when we arrived, gave a tour of the house, telling us how things worked etc. He also came back to help when phoned, topped up the wood for indoor fire when it turned cold and other little things that made the whole experience...
