"Stayed in Tanjung ocean view which got nice sunset view. All staff- room service, breakfast room , pool area, are all excellent. Check in was good, got upgrade . Pool was very old but maintained very well and clean. Beach area was not that good. Breakfast got everything, fresh juice, fruits pomelo etc. noodle sections. As mentioned before by others late check out is not allowed even when hotel is less than a third full. We were given “ star lounge access for staying on but as mentioned by others nothing in there except toilets. "

"Great getaway resort away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a couple nights stay as may run out of activities within the vicinity if staying longer. Staff were amazing and kind! "Nice spacious rooms and good views over the sea. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight negatives was tgat the bars clided at 10pm which is a littke early, and some of the "hot" breakfast items were not kept that hot. But overall thoroughly recommend the Grandis when staying in Kota Kibabalu and we would not hesitate to stay again."
