The breakfast and dinner was served by older ladies that did not necessarily speak English but definitely kept trying to make it an amazing experience each time. The variety of the served food was just overwhelming. So delicious and always something freshly cooked right at your table. An opportunity to stay at traditional Japanese tatami room is a memorable experience. Free pick up from the railway station. "

"What really made our stay special is kindness and attentiveness of the staff. We had large suitcases, and though the train station was a five minute walk, the front desk manager noticed us struggle walking uphill and came to our rescue with a hotel van, loaded and unloaded our bags. The dropoff service was not included, and we did not ask for it. He did it out of compassion and kindness. Very touching. Food was delicious! Do book dinner if its available. We had a traditional tatami room, which was cute, though a bit dated with some tears on the faded couch upholstery. The shower was very small, which is expected. We were lucky to have a private shower as many ryakans make you share. Great experience overall."

"Love the hotel and the staff. We had such a great time and would definitely return. The staff is nothing but great and helpful. They take the extra mile to make sure we have a great stay. The facility is nice and comfortable. Meals are good. It's like a ski in ski out. We had such a great time. Their customer service is everything that makes our stay spectacular. Before our visit, they asked us to reserve dinner. We came across a Christmas special that is a Chef hand made cake and we asked to order. They responded that the cake was really just for Christmas day celebration and since we won't check in until closer to New Year, it's out of the order date. A few days later, they emailed me and told us that they have asked the Chef if the Chef would still make us the cake. We were so surprised for the extra mile they took to provide the service. And we happily ordered the cake for our holiday celebration. Sure enough, the cake was so pretty and delicious, our family was over the moon. I told my family about the special arraignment and every was so happy and thankful for the service they provided. During our stay, we realized the area was pretty short staff due to many reasons. The staff at the hotel works very hard to make sure they cover all ground and give us spectacular service despite the shortage. It's very amazing. We will return as we had such a wonderful time.
