Stayed in a beach access pool villa for 4 nights as a few friends recommended this resort.
The location was secluded, private but located on the side of a steep ish hill so planning is required as there are limited shuttled vehicles. not for those who require mobility assistance.
Arrived late to the villa, check in was quick. we noticed was the fixture and fittings looked a bit dated and worn for hotel only 10yrs old.
The bed was probably one of the lumpiest mattresses I’ve slept on so as you could imagine we didn’t sleep very well. One of the bedroom lights wasn’t working, toilet roll holder hanging off, tv wasn’t working and power kept turning off briefly.
Rain shower was useless as the water jet direction was all over the place from not being cleaned and on using the hand held shower, my neck was accidentally scratched leaving a light cut as the worn shower head had left a sharp edge.
We reported this to the resort staff and whilst the shower head was replaced, the lights and tv were fixed we decided to stay one more night and move as it was not to our expectations.
Originally they advised us that as we prepaid via a third party we wouldn’t be allowed a refund for the nights we were not staying there but on our early departure they agreed to just charge us for the nights stayed and refund the remainder.
Whilst the staff were very professional and looked after us, the maintenance and renovation of the resort definitely needs a big improvement!!
