Villa Rouge B&B

4.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (56)
"We stayed here for one night. The couple who own it were delightful. V friendly and helpful. The accomodation is very....quirky. I'm giving it a four instead of a five because the bed wasn't the comfiest(what's with the need for an electric blanket in NZ!) and the room was too stuffy for me at night . Breakfast was good but we would have liked our pot of tea to have come with the cooked breakfast not after- just being picky here but it's useful info should they have other UK guests."

Tui Hideaway

2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (6)
"Nice little place tucked away out of the way, however just had a pretty mediocre welcoming at first as we went to check in around 3.30pm then got told that the owner of the business was away and hadn't mentioned about our stay and that we would need to return around 5pm to check in (Had been driving all day and just felt like a bit of a rest to be honest). Then wasn't able to find our booking which made us feel like a bit of a nuisance to be fair. However at the end of the day Kevin was super...

Beersheba Estate

4.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (75)
"The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. The ducks outside were very noisy all night which was a bit disturbing. Overall however a different...

"The fact that breakfast was included for the price I thought was value for money. The owner was very welcoming. It felt more like a home from home. Beds and pillows were very comfortable."
