"We stayed here for two nights so that we could do a glacier and ice cave hike, and a glacier lagoon boat trip at Jokulsarlon. The guesthouse was in an amazing setting close to the mountains. "Overall is ok, 30min drive from the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and close to Höfn for grocery. A very quiet area with glacier outlets surrounding. The cabin a little bit small if you have some luggages to open. The cleanliness of the cooking utensil, pots and pans depend on the previous traveller occupied the cabin, given there is no dishwasher. The water supply is limited and hot water runs from a small electric boiler. You need to wait a while after another person has taken a hot shower....

Bathrooms were a bit dirty when we got there hours after check in but that’s not the hosts problem (was spotless when we checked in early the second time staying) "

"Bigger rooms.. They had coffee maker & microwave in kitchen.. Bigger room.. One of the cheaper accommodation in the area.. !!This guest house not have front desk.. it is little off the ring road.. Road leading to the property is terrible.. "
