"We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. "

"Perched on a hill above Kaiteriteri beach with gorgeous views, this home is a wonderful, peaceful place to stay while visiting Abel Tasman Natl Park. Ellie couldn't have been more kind and helpful, and we appreciated the thoughtful gifts she left to welcome us. Her home reflects the love with which it was built and decorated. We took great hikes right from the house, spent a delightful rainy day just relaxing at home and enjoying the views, and loved our day exploring Abel Tasman Park by water taxi and on foot. We spent three nights at "Heart of Kaiteriteri" and would have loved to stay longer. Ellie and her home will hold a special place in our memories of New Zealand."

"We stayed here for 2 nights in the 4 bedroom cottage/house. It was amazing ocean views from the outdoor table! There was only 2 of us, but that was only room left when we booked, honestly, I'd book it again just for us, because it was huge and so much room to feel like we were at home, and again- views were amazing! Great little back walk down the side to the ocean from that room as well. Staff was amazing and great location to be stationed at to explore Abel Tasman! HIGHLY recommend! Wish we would have had more time there! "

"Great little older style bach with all the comforts one needs for an enjoyable holiday! Lots of good sized windows allowing air flow on the hot days, cooled down by night time. Kitchen well equipped. Plenty of seating and a view that’s amazing. We all enjoyed this great little place close to the beach. Thank you Lyndy and Noel."
