"Lovely location overlooking the Firth of Thames. Alby was a friendly, gracious host. Nice touches like cookies and liqueur in the refrigerator. Kitchenette and bathroom modern, clean and functional. Pool needed vacuuming. Lovely grounds/gardens. 5 minute drive to Thames."

"Quiet and very safe location. Excellent communication. I enjoyed my stay at The Smithy, a homely and very relaxing place to stay. The location is just a short walk to the village where there are some good options for breakfasts. I was given a bag of feijoas on leaving, a real treat, thanks to Alison. "Couldn't have asked or organised a better place to stay! Easy to book, clean and modern room, wonderful staff, close vicinity to a wedding venue we were attending, plenty of parking (if not outside your room in another car park behind), also close to local main road (but far enough away no noise issues etc) of wonderful eateries and eclectic op shops and treasure troves. Looking forward to sometime coming back and staying again with more time to spend perusing the local area... thanks Pedlars and Paeroa, what an AWESOME town!!!"
