Very disappointed in this room that we booked for 2 nights and could not get a refund because they said, we had to go through...

"do not stay here if you're western. its a traditional japanese hotel and totally alien. dreadful bedding / beds. smokey. just a waste of money. there's a much better and lower cost hotel right opposite. the building is tatty and generally sooooo disappointing."
