"Absolutely great place to enjoy the peace and serenity of a lakefront retreat. Hugely spacious A-frame house with kitchen and baths that contribute to your comfort. Hosts, Donna & Paul, offered friendly waves & hellos, there if you need them, leave you to yourself if you choose. We stayed with our 12-year old standard poodle (we adopted him five years ago) and he and we enjoyed the large property and the wonderful deer passing through. Great place, highly recommended. "We had a wonderful stay at Willow's Cabin. The cabin is cozy and the decor just makes you smile! It was wonderful to sit on the porch and listen to the birds and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The bed is so comfortable and it was the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the quiet. We loved visiting Oinkin Oasis and meeting all the piggies! I love that our stay goes to supporting such a wonderful cause. Communication with the host was fantastic. We will definitely be back!"

"All I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas. "

"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "

"I would have loved to given the place 5 stars cause it’s a beautiful place & Robbie the host is such a nice man. We will go back!!! Only reason I gave 3 stars on cleanliness is: The outdoor kitchen needs the gas grill replaced cause the bottom is rusted out & needs a little more TLC."

"This property was perfect for our recent family reunion in Longview. The house has been beautifully updated and is much larger than we expected. The layout allowed space for everyone. The rooms were quiet and secluded from the living space. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of bathroom space. Location was perfect. "

"The home is a peaceful and serene area very close to the lake. We spent a lot of time walking the area, enjoying nature. We spent one afternoon in Jefferson, which is only 30 minutes away. The beds were comfortable, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in each shower were convenient. The kitchen had most of the items we needed, and the Ninja coffee maker was excellent. We were sad to leave and are already planning a trip back!"

"I really enjoyed staying here. It was like stepping back into the 70's with the decor but it was very clean and everyone was super nice going above and beyond whenever they could. I will definitely visit there again."
