"San Simeon is a beautiful place to visit. The hotel is close to Hearst Castle, The Elephant Seals, and walking trails. Moon Stone beach and lovely boardwalk are also nearby. At the hotel, the grassy area over looking the Sea was beautiful. "The room itself was perfect and quaint. It had a lovely patio that overlooked to the ocean but the spa tub and the fireplace really set a wonderful mood for my partner and i. It was clean but a little odd that check in after 530pm had to be done at a nearby hotel a few yards down. Odd but was still easy to get out key and really wasn’t that big of a deal.
