"We loved our latest stay at the Surety which happened to be Christmas Eve. The restaurant and bar was at full capacity with diners. A definite Christmas oasis as most of the rest of downtown Des Moines was quiet. A testament to food and restaurant that so many would seek it out on Christmas eve. Staff as always were welcoming and friendly."

"We have stayed at this location several times. Always great service. Breakfast is good, great bed and plenty of space in the rooms. Nothing major but noticed that some of the walls needed a good wipe down. "
