A kettle to make coffee/tea would be nice. If driving, go via Hinterhelmsdorf and do not follow google maps as those lead through almost impassable backroads. "

An den knarzenden Holzboden muss man sich gewöhnen und leider muss man das Wasser lang laufen lassen, bis es warm wird. "

We were able to walk to a train station and a ferry to cross the river into Schmilka, which was absolutely adorable by the way! Die Unterkunft ist zweckmässig ausgestattet und die kleine Küche würde sogar Selbstverpflegung ermöglichen. Das Bad ist modern. Bei schönem Wetter bietet das große Grundstück viele Möglichkeiten zum draussen Frühstücken, sonnen, grillen, Volleyball spielen, etc. Das angebotene Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich, empfehlenswert und wird aufs Zimmer gebracht. "The apartment was spacious and had great views. We stayed for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. However, there are some drawbacks. My biggest complaint was that the windows did not have any screens and we spent the better part of the first evening killing all the critters that had come in the windows. Some we didn't even want to open because we could see so many spiders on the outside of them (up to 10 in one window).There were no fans in the apartment so it was rather stuffy...
