"Riad Tiwza Fes was lovely. Breakfasts were served in a comfortable lounge around a fire. The room was very comfortable. Had the temperatures been warmer, we would have spent more time on the roof deck. My only complaint is that it took forever for the hot water to warm up for the shower... mine was lukewarm, but my husband who followed me had a hot shower! "Riad Al Ansari is a beautiful riad which has been recently renovated to the highest standard. The rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings and Moroccan architectural detail. I had a lovely room with a view of the courtyard. Most importantly, Hicham, the manager, was very hospitable and welcoming. He is charming and made me feel totally comfortable and safe. "DARK. Our room was dark with only a small window to the exterior and poor interior lighting. The bathroom was also dark with poor lighting. The alleyway leading to the Riad has no lighting, we arrived at night and the alley was pitch black. We used the lights on our phones to help us find our way.
