"This was a surprising find for us. We stayed in the main building and loved it. Jamie who checked us into our room was extremely helpful with suggestions. He doubles as the bar tender at night and we had a blast singing and sharing stories with him. Highly recommended this property. If you are lucky enough to interact with Jamie take it all in."

"The Hunter Lodge has a warm rustic cozy vibes. The front room has a wood burning stove and a game room in an eclectic library. Room was a spacious clean and unique with an upstairs loft. Only disappointment was the Tavern being closed the night before Thanksgiving."

"I stayed at Hotel Mountain Brook for a hiking trip, since it's a short drive from many hiking trails in the area. I couldn't be more pleased with my stay. The hotel is fairly small and creates a more intimate setting for everyone staying, which allowed us to befriend a few people who were staying there around the same time as us. The staff is very kind and accommodating, free breakfast is freshly made to order, there's a wide variety of snacks available in the common area, and the hotel is walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and there's plenty of parking space behind the hotel. I will definitely be staying here again when I'm back in the area."

"This was my second visit in the last 2 months, in October I stayed 4 nights during the week for business. This recent stay was only 1 night. But EVERYTHING was extrordinary, from the comfort of the bed, the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel proper. And it has an indoor pool to enjoy. "The motel is Wonderfull!! We plan on going back. Take advantage of the amenities at both locations. Book as soon as you arrive as they are reservation based. For a “theme” hotel the rooms build quality is top notch. The bar on main st. The food is an absolute must go to. Bring groceries as the local store is more of a convenience store or bodega. "

"Absolutely wonderful property! Alison warmly welcomed us and guided us throughout. Scandinavian design with Mid Century Vintage furnishings. This room features a private entrance, vintage desk and large window nook. We enjoyed the views of the beautiful grounds while seated on your private lounge chairs outside of our room. The onsite Dandelion restaurant had amazing vibe and equally amazing food and drinks. Breakfast was a lovely basket that we enjoyed in our patio. Large, clean bathrooms. Close to hiking trails. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
