"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."

"I visited with my husband and 3 friends. The house is located in a community consisting of houses, condos, a hotel and access to private and public beaches. There is about a 10-15 minutes ride from the entrance to the house, and there are some hills. It is best to rent a golf cart while staying at the house - its the best way to get around the property. Olga was very helpful in securing the golf cart. Be advised that certain areas in this complex require wristbands. So, I had trouble getting...

"Great place in a great location. The views are spectacular. I would stay there again. Hosts were also very responsive and helpful. A knife sharpener would be good to have for the kitchen, as knives were extremely dull; glad I brought my Buck knife. A steamer basket would also be useful for those who prefer to steam the fine produce available."
