"I dropped Deb at our hotel, Domus Atilia, as the parking was actually in a public car park 300m away. The lady (whose name I never got, sadly) was fantastic. She spoke almost no English but was incredibly knowledgable about the town and its ancient history and with the help of Google Translate she did a good job of educating us. "The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped - especially the kitchen. Everything was very clean and recently renovated. There are two bathrooms with showers - very important when travelling with two teenagers ;) and also a washing machine and a dryer, so even with bad weather one can have clean & dry clothes quickly.
