The hotel facilities were excellent. It was an oldish hotel, but everything worked well and was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the excellent gym, pool, and spa facilities. the location was easy to find and the view from the room was beautiful. We were particularly impressed with the bedding - very light and comfortable. The breakfast was also a joy to experience. There was a great variety of different foods to try (almost too many for one stomach). Overall, it was hard to fault the hotel - the only minor issue was the lack of an elevator from the underground parking.

Summer Stay in Jeju KAL
Overall hotel service are very good. But the facilities is too old. Most power outlet which are in the room are not able to be charged to the electric devices. and On last stayed day, there is flooding from the ceilings in the front of door. I look forward that if there be the improvement for the facilities, it will be more comfortable place during travel. Thanks.

Everything was fine except when we returned to our room on the second day, there was no shower curtain. Called front desk and maid came up and replaced it quickly.

So there were pros and cons to the hotel. Number one. Hotel staff were super friendly and very helpful. Check in was a piece of cake. Got to the room. Not at all like the pictures. It was like motel 6 quality honestly. Bathroom was dark and dim. Shower head was built up with calcium. Only one outlet worked in the room. But I’ll have to say I slept pretty great and the beds were super comfy. There’s a casino, pool, two restaurants, a bar, gym, and a sky view roof. Casino…closed. Pool… no tattoos allowed. Both restaurants… closed for a long time. Gym.. have to pay. Sky view… closed. I wasn’t interested in the bar. But everything the hotel offers on the website was not available. Was sad about that. And booked the hotel for those main reasons. Couldn’t enjoy one thing. And the breakfast downstairs.. have to pay. I payed $300 for what? The hotel was close to a lot of stuff in the city tho. Mall 10 minute walk, and bus stops everywhere to get around in. 2 convenient stores right outside the hotel. Across the street and one right next door. Ohhh and you have to pay for the amenities like shampoo and soap in the room. 3 waters in the room. Only one is free. Others you have to pay for. One thing I can say is, I slept great every night. But I could’ve slept great and saved a lot more money somewhere else. Very overrated hotel.

The gym AND pool were NOT included with the stay. This was not mentioned prior to my stay. In additional, sky lounge wasn't opened. This hotel was really outdated with everything and I'm very surprised this is called a 5 star hotel. I will be telling people NOT to stay here. Lastly, I asked simply a staff member for a recommendation for a nice restaurant in the area, and they couldn't tell me anything. I had booked two nights here and feel like I've wasted my stay here.

The room was fine, but, the carpet was dirty; in addition, the phone too. The rate for the room was excellent(too good to be true). Upon check-out I found out why; they charge 82,000 Won(about $70.00 USD) per day for taxes. Insane! Taxes exceeded the cost of the room. I don't know if they are governmental taxes or KAL self-imposed taxes; at any rate, too much.
