"This lodge was even better than the pictures suggested. Rooms are small but we did not find that to be a problem. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The bar room was lovely to relax in."

"We were looking for somewhere to stay that was convenient for skiing at Smugglers Notch. It definitely fit the bill! 10 minutes from the room to the slopes. Very quiet property. When we arrived the innkeeper greeted us and was very helpful, answering all our questions before we could even answer them. The tavern downstairs had delicious food. It IS an older building, so it had some quirks (floor was slightly uneven, and the bathroom door was a little stiff), but those were pretty minor and to be expected. The bed was a little on the soft side, but still not bad. The breakfast was generous and tasty (hash brown casserole was amazing!). Check in and out was very convenient, the parking area was a little on the smaller side but we were able to park without any difficulty."

"Will definitely be coming back! Great location- couple minute drive from a lot of food and drink, <10-15 min drive from Stowe mountain. Hotel was homey and cozy with fireplaces in the room and around public areas. The staff were super nice and helpful. The spa was great too. I visited in the winter and it had an outdoor hot tub, indoor pool, sauna and steam room all open (there may be more in the summer)."
