Charming Cottage in the Heart of the Historic District. Wonderful Getaway

Little Cottage with Big Charm. Two bedroom cottage with King Bed in one and Large Twins in one. Great kitchen for eating in or dine in one of our many wonderful local eateries. One bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Washer/dryer. Very comfortable furnishings with some antiques and local art. Outdoor patio for nice mornings or evenings. Stay in the Heart of the Historic District. Steps from everything.
Jefferson Tx. is the 5th oldest town in Texas. Jefferson is located right on the Big Cypress River. We are only three hours from Dallas Tx. We are one hour from Shreveport La. We are four hours from Houston Tx. Nestled in the Piney Woods of East Texas.
Jefferson was founded in the early 1840's. Once a bustling River Port town, but now a perfect destination for a weekend getaway. Jefferson has something for everyone, wonderful selection of antique and eclectic shops. The dining selections are from very fancy to very funky, all yummy. Live music on the weekends at many places. Great Historic homes, some on tour and a Great Museum. Riverboat rides,Carriage Rides and Ghost Walks, call for times and dates.
We are about twelve miles to Caddo Lake and about 12 miles to Lake of the Pines.
Come stay for the weekend or for the week. Make our little cottage a home base for so many great things to do in this area.

Great Cottage Getaway
The property is simply lovely with all the comforts of home. It was clean and in the prefect location in proximity to downtown Jefferson. We will certainly stay here again should we return to the area.

Quaint Little Cottage & Best Location!!
This little gem of a house was perfect for our sister trip to Jefferson, Texas for the Candlelight Tour of Homes. It was located within walking distance to the downtown stores and all the restaurants. The owner, Anna, was available to answer any questions that we needed during our stay. It’s an older house so we felt like we were staying at our grandparents, which made us feel right at home.

Best Location
This charming cottage has everything you need. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 bedrooms, 2 nice social areas and a great outside patio with a table, seating, etc. It is located right on the edge of the historic downtown You can basically walk everywhere. ANNA IS A GREAT HOST. She provided a nice basket of snacks, coffee, creamer, etc., and is very responsive. The king bed is very comfortable, the shower runs hot and full. This was our second stay and if we make it back to Jefferson? We'll try to get this place again!

My best friend and I took a short trip to Jefferson, Tx and had the best time!! This house is in a great location for walking downtown and several restaurants close by. The beds was so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and wonderful cottage !
My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage. Great location to all the shops & restaurants (walking distance). We loved coming back after a long day of walking down town to a relaxing time of sitting outside on the patio area. The cottage has everything you need and then some. I' m sure we'll be back! Suggestion..I would add more pictures on VRBO of the patio area .

Great Location
The location is great and I love the town of Jefferson. The home is okay. The layout is good; and there was plenty of room for the three of us and it worked out well. However, the house is a bit dated; the yard could use some TLC. There were a few cleanliness issue. The house needs a deep clean and a refresh. We also had a couple of roach incidents. As a Texan, I know we live with bugs but...no one wants to see bugs.

Cozy cottage in the perfect location!
We had a wonderful time in Jefferson. The cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable. It was also well stocked with beverages, breakfast and snack food - so convenient! We parked our car and were able to walk to anything we wanted to do. We rode the Historic Jefferson Railway, took the Turning Basin Boat Tour, visited the Jefferson Historical Museum and attached model train display, went to the Gone With The Wind Museum and did a walking tour of the beautiful homes in Jefferson. We met a lot of nice, friendly people and had plenty of delicious meals. We will return and hopefully, we will be staying in our favorite cottage on Austin Street. Thank you, Anna!
