Nice, well stocked cottage. Homemade bread and peach tea were great. Suitable for close families because bathroom opens onto both sleeping areas without doors.

A little piece of Heaven!
Bessie’s Landing has been the nicest place that we have rented in Jefferson TX. You could not ask for anything nicer and Elaine our host provided everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home. She really went above and beyond! We can’t wait for our next visit!!

Cozy Cottage
This is the favorite rental we have ever stayed at. We loved having our coffee on the porch or just sitting and enjoying the view. Jefferson is a true historical treasure.

Beautiful, Relaxing, Peaceful!
We enjoyed out visit immensely! We relaxed sitting on the front porch in such a peaceful setting. The cottage was cozy and wonderfully stocked with snacks, drinks and healthy breakfast choices. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Great dining and shopping in the Jefferson area which is all very close with very pleasant atmosphere.

Exceeded our expectations!
We totally enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, cute, had everything we could possibly need, fridge and freezer were stocked, and a fresh baked loaf of bread! We walked to great restaurants and enjoyed seeing historic homes on the way. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge our batteries!

Great stay, start to finish. Accomodations were very clean and comfy. Handy location. Lots to do in Jefferson. When we were at the rental, we relaxed on the porch, watched TV, and read through some of the information provided about the many things available in the area. Would definitely stay at Bessie's Landing again!

Excellent place to getaway!
Elaine and Ken have a darling property that is private, clean, and beautiful. The homemade blueberry bread that greeted us on arrival was delicious and a friendly touch. Also, there was an abundance of snacks and breakfast items which allowed us to enjoy our mornings without having to go out. I highly recommend Bessie's Landing to anyone wanting some quality R & R!

We loved the cottage and grounds and special touches Elaine had. The blueberry bread was good and the refridgerator was packed with food. Very pet friendly. Very private and restful.
