"Overall our experience was very good. The staff and service was fantastic. The only exception was the Alto restaurant where our experience was terrible - the food was extremely poor and we did not eat it. Equally the service in the Alto restaurant was well below the rest of the hotel. That was the only poor experience and they let the rest of the hotel down. Overall aside from that, our experience was great. "

"Conveniently located near the shopping street of Malioboro. Hotel is generally well maintained. However the door doesn’t shut completely and I have to ensure that the door is completely shut each time I enter/leave the room. The train and traffic sounds goes on in the middle of the night. I was awoken but fortunately return to sleep quite easily, thanks to the comfortable bed. Will be a problem for light sleepers. "

"For a simple check in, we had to wait quite long. Then the water inside the room is brown and small flow, the heater does work even work too much so that we had to take a shower with the water like coming from hell (too much hot water). The temperature of the water couldn't be adjusted to normal temperature. Even if the location is good, I think there are still other better budget decent hotels at the same location. I will not come back here next time."

"One of the nicest small boutique hotels in Jakarta. I've spent months staying at this hotel over the years and always enjoyed the service, food, and great location. An absolute 5 stars, even though there are some things they could still improve post covid. Be aware rooms are small,but comfortable beds, good hot water, large tv, good AC. Breakfast is not as complete as it was pre-covid, but still very good, with individual selection backed up by a small buffet of fruits and juices and good...
