"Thank you to all the staff who were super cool with me and my partner. Made us feel comfortable and safe! My only complaint is the outside shower hose needs to be replaced. And if you have guests who wants cocktails , please have some one staff to make the drinks "

"There was some mix-up and I was told that I had reservations for the location that DOES NOT have a pool but it was a block away so the sister hotel with the pool accommodated us. Kudos to the employees for their quick resolution to our issue. Both hotels were decent but this is really a review of hotel Orquideas 1 because that's the location we ended up staying in. As mentioned, there are two sister hotels (Orquideas 1 & 2), just make sure yours is the one that has the pool if it matters to you.The pics were misleading because it makes you think that the pool is located at the hotel you book but it's at Orquideas 1. I would still ask and confirm. The hotel itself was decent. The ac was sufficient but I went in December so I'm not sure how hot it can get during other months. The pool and the terrace made neat hangout spots whenever we were in our hotel. I have friends who live locally and told me that the area we were in was dangerous. With that said, I'm not sure if the ubers and taxis go out there at night. My friends picked us up and dropped us off so nothing sketchy ever happened during our stay. Thank You Jesus. "

"The Balandra is a very special place. We stayed there after my wife had surgery to rest. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The facilities are wonderful and the food is delicious. An incredible place of beauty!"

"El hotel es muy bonito, cómodo con buenas instalaciones lástima que el servicio deja mucho que desear éramos los únicos huéspedes del hotel todo el fin de semana y fuimos bastante ignorados por el personal, la comida es muy normal y costosa al igual que los tragos. Recomendaría este hotel siempre y cuando hagan ajustes en el servicio que brindan a los huéspedes de lo contrario no es un lugar al que volvería. Ya que el costo es elevado y uno espera un mejor trato."
