"Margaret is just wonderful. We felt like we were staying at a dear family member’s home. Stayed in her very private upstairs suite and it was perfect for me, my wife and our pup. He had a blast running around the yard, meeting the chickens going to the bay beach etc. We had the best time! Thank you Margaret!!"

"This house is as advertised – very comfortable for a large group. We are a group of 12 and everyone fit at the dining table. The bedrooms we very nice – bed linens amazing! Pool was closed for the season but the hot tub was open and very clean. The outside seating is comfortable. We did run out of gas for the grill – so check in advance that the tank is full. You will have a great weekend - enjoy! "

We wished that there was better information/communication about lawn and pool service, pest treatment and trash pick-up. Spectacular Sunrises on the deck with breakfast overlooking Orient Harbor, Bug Light, and Shelter Island are mesmerizing. The view and the setting just never gets old-a real gem!! "This was a perfect getaway for a multigenerational family reunion! It's a beautifully maintained property. The bathroom to bedroom ratio was great for many families/couples. Great amenities included a heated pool and jacuzzi, and it's ideally located with easy access to Southampton and Sag Harbor downtown areas. Bob was a wonderful host and easy to reach. I recommend this place for anyone planning a family getaway. "

"The property manager ensured that booking and check in went smoothly. If you're looking for a 5 star resort or party house, this is NOT the location for you. However, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway on the north shore of Long Island, within walking distance to the beach with your small family, including pet, check it out. Is it flawless? well, no. But you'll find flaws where you look for them. The better question in my mind would be "would I opt to stay there again?".. and the answer is...
