"The home has all the amenities indoor and out. The host had thought of everything and was wonderful to work with. We felt very well cared for. The place itself is newly renovated and very clean. The interiors are well planned and we all had more than enough room for our family of five. The hot tub was a highlight during our snowy stay. It was a perfect retreat from DC!"

"Overall, nice place to stay for a few days. Particularly liked the views from my window. Of course whenever you stay at a hotel, there's a chance of hearing other guests as they move about, so be prepared if you must have absolute silence at bedtime. :)"

"My family and I had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. There were 17 of us including 2 children. The house was clean, beautiful and spacious. The garage with the games was perfect to relax and play games with the family. The host quickly answered texts and raised the temperature to what we asked for within 5 minutes. We have no complaints at all. We highly recommend this house to stay with large groups. The only suggestion for the host is better outlining of the rooms and beds in each room so people can plan accomodations better. Otherwise everything was great. "

"It was the perfect place for our family to gather for a few days. We all live in different states and enjoyed the chance to come together. The bedroom and bathroom accommodations fit us perfectly. We were able to take advantage of the outdoor fire pits. Hiked in the woods and enjoyed playing many games. Wendy was very responsive to our questions and decorated with a lovely autumn feel. "My family (husband, me and two adult sons) & German Shepherd stayed here over Thanksgiving. Great location, lane is a bit washed out, but driveway to the house was great. Cottage was cozy and well stocked. Great appliances, great stock of pans, cookware, utensils. Very nice layout - the upstairs with two beds and the downstairs with one. Well stocked with linens, blankets and paper products. Great to not have to pack all of this! As many reviews have said - the place was immaculate and very well kept. Loved that it was dog friendly and still very comfortable. Not many places to hike on the property - but the parks and trails around it provided exactly what we were looking for. Overall, great place, nice location, great host. Will definitely look at staying again! Thank you!"
