"We arrived a little early from the ferry and they let us check in which we really appreciated. We found the room to be clean comfortable and well appointed including a bar fridge microwave and safe. The linens wer fresh and clean and the mattresses were comfy and not too hot. The pillows were also just perfect for me as a side sleeper. The parking was a little pricey but convenient. And the harbour views spectacular. Great hotel. Can’t wait to come back "

"This was our third stay at Marketa’s and we were greeted so warmly! Check in was easy and parking in the back. The breakfast was perfect and the girls made us again feel so welcome. Only issue for me was the shower head needs replacing as the water coming out was restricted. Otherwise a charming place to stay in James Bay😀"

"It was fine except that the thermostat in our room didn’t actually do anything. It wasn’t until we spent 2 cold nights that we realized it wasn’t actually working. There were heaters in the closet. Is that why they were there? If it didn’t actually work we should have been informed when we check in and then we would have used the heaters. "

"Rooms are quiet, well appointed with amenities like a small stove top, microwave oven, refrigerator and dishwasher with dinnerware dining area.The bathroom is spacious. The bed is big and comfy. Staff are courteous and helpful. The dining room has a lovely, cozy ambiance with full service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A bonus for dog lovers is that it’s also pet friendly. The location is convenient to downtown and very walkable. I would definitely stay there again. "
