"The hotel is half way through a refurb so reception and breakfast are in a portacabin. We booked in for 2 nights but the the keycard failed after 24hrs, the aircon didn't work on the second evening either, breakfast was missing basic items like butter"

"Arrived 10pm at night, not sure howbto check in initially but then Receptionist appeared who was able to check me in &.gave me my room card, we was on the 2nd floor room no. 24 at the end, stairs to two levels were outside - Receptionist offered me help with my bags... "This hotel is in a fabulous location and offers parking, which is a bonus. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was disappointing, ripped curtain, odd bathroom door, dated decor and shower needed a regrouting. The bed however, was very comfortable. For a short stay, it was fine."
