This amazing house is directly on the beach in Jaco, YOU WILL NOT FIND ANYTHING CLOSER TO THE WATERS EDGE!! The waves crash into the sea wall in front of the house, at high tide.. South end of the beach, where there is no road that separates all of the other houses/condos from the beach.. It is also the last house on the beach, just next to a beautiful rocky reef with coves for exploring and fishing! HGTV filmed here! Booking with the owners who own multiple properties in this area, a HUGE plus...personal attention, no agencies, no extra added commissions, and you are getting the transportation and tours we do ourselves with wonderful people that are our friends! PURA VIDA!!!
With approximately 5500 square feet of full house Air conditioned space including recently remodeled kitchen with gas stove, huge fridge, dining area, 6 bedrooms(3 are Master suites) and 6 bathrooms, and a full indoor gym, Joya del Pacifico is like a small hotel for you and your family or group to stay at. Great Place for A Reunion with Friends

Great property right on the beach
Perfect place for our large family with separate suite and large rooms in the main house. In a quiet corner at the end of the beach with easy access to the ocean and other amenities. Helpful staff and security for safety. Would stay again if back in the area. Thanks for having us!

House was great for our family. Good staff with housekeeper and security. Rated 4 stars due to non operating dishwasher. We wound up doing dishes most nights as we did not want to leave them overnight for housekeeper next day. Concerned about attracting pests.

Family Vacation
Everything was very easy from start to finish. The house easily accommodated 8 adults and 9 kids, aged 20 mos to 14yrs The staff was excellent, especially Marte, the housekeeper, who always smiled . Communication was excellent. Location was perfect. Having 15 horses ride right up to the house from the beach, for an afternoon of riding, was awesome. Travel logistics were amazing and easy. So much to do. This is a lifetime memory made possible by such an outstanding venue.

We had a great vacation & loved the house and staff.
We stayed for 7 nights, and loved every minute of it. The house is beautiful and very spacious. The owners were great to deal with and the houses staff was wonderful too (they don't speak much English, so knowing a little Spanish helps). The houses location was great, you're at the end of the beach so you're not surrounded by a bunch of commotion. I would definitely stay there again if we return to Jaco.

Wonderful Family Vacation
This was a wonderful family vacation. We had events scheduled for almost every day, pure enjoyment. But the best part was our "home" in Jaco. Plenty of room for 12, right on the surfing end of the beach with a pool for family fun. We loved the place so much, we had most of our dinners right here. Within walking distance to the town and lovely shops and eateries. Marta kept our place spotless and yet was unobtrusive. My family would love to make this a yearly trip.

Best Vacation Ever
Jen and all of the crew were amazing. Mar(housekeeper) and Pablo (security guard) were always there to help with anything we needed! Diego(chef) came to the house and cooked the best meals!!! Fabian(property manager) booked all excursions & transportation. We were spoiled this whole week! I can’t thank Jen and the crew enough! This is a definite MUST book! We were truly spoiled this whole vacation !!

Phenomenal Property
The location is fantastic. The property is amazing and beautiful. We were well taken care of by security and housekeeping which are there ALL the time. There was a slight communication issue, but that is on us not speaking Spanish. Google translate works wonders. The room air conditioners truly work. We have been in tropical locations where it never really gets cool (or even cold). Not, here. Outside is hot and humid, but room temperatures are great. The main master bedroom is the size of a small apartment. There is plenty of room in this location. We could not recommend this property more!

Best Vacation
Stayed here with 9 friends for my bachelor party. WE HAD A BLAST! Fabian who was a driver that the owner suggested picked us up from the airport and took great care of us throughout the trip. The staff at the house were great as well, always someone on site so never to worry. There was a maid that went through the house and cleaned up every morning. You have your own access to the beach, LIKE COMMMMMON!!! It was an amazing time and we couldn't ask for anything better. Amazing trip!

Awesome house and amazing host!!!
We stayed at this beautiful house for a week and we don't have enough words to describe how amazing and incredible it was, beginning with the owner Jen who was very generous, helpful and accommodating and ending with the house staff whom are very kind and lovely people. The house is extremely beautiful and well kept, with and amazing view of the whole Jaco Beach Bay that included a breath taking view of the sunset. The location couldn't be any more perfect since you are literally on the sand, just step out of the back gate and take 20 steps and your feet are wet. We could't be happier with our stay and would very much recommend this house over any other property I've ever stayed in.

Exceptional family stay
We were a family of 10, ranging in age from 72 to 2 and stayed November 23-30, 2019. This is a beautiful property exactly as described and even more impressive when you actually are there. Marta and Pablo were wonderful, especially to my grandchildren. We had Marisol prepare two dinners, our first night and after a long day at Manuel Antonio park. Both meals were exceptional, especially the salad the first night, and it was great to arrive tired and not have to worry about meal preparation. Having the ocean steps from the house made it easy to swim every day! I would highly recommend Joya de Pacifico for any large group and especially for families.

What can you say......words can't describe a property this amazing....I have been traveling to Costa Rica for 15 yrs and this was one of the best trips ever....this house is as good as it gets....not to mention the wonderful staff on site....Pablo and Marta were great....there when you needed them...please do yourself a favor if your headed to Costa Rica...rent this place, no way you could be disappointed.....the owners were always available via email and made this experience wonderful.....we went for my wife's 40th with a group of 8 and had the time of our lives.....truly can't say enough about the entire trip except it wouldn't have been the same if we stayed somewhere else.....

Best Location, Very spacious
This place was much better than we imagined. The location is the absolute best. You walk to the beach. And the beach is one of the best beaches I have ever seen; warm water, shallow sand beach—the perfect place for our family to get their first surfing lessons. The property manager arranged for all of our activities. that was another added benefit. You can talk to him when you check-in, and he can arrange everything for you. I recommend hiring Chef Diego for private dining. He is a top-notch chef. Communication with the owner and property manager was seamless. we also had daily, on demand cleaning which was great.

Perfect spot for Jaco - Secluded spot but right on the beach
This spot was absolutely perfect for our bachelor party. Every bedroom was well laid out, quiet, and best of all - AC in every room. We were a loud group, but since this house is so secluded we did not disturb anyone around us. The house is right on the beach so you could wake up and walk out right into the ocean, just a stone's throw away. There was a security guard who monitored the outside of the house at night, so you do not have to worry about any type of crime. In addition, the manager Nate is very responsive & friendly. He was even nice enough to give me a last minute ride back to the airport when my taxi did not show up - Such a life savor!

Simply Perfect Paradise
Our experience was nothing short of absolute perfection while staying in Jaco! The house, staff, amenities, and extras were everything and more than we could have ever wanted. We had surfboard brought strait to the house, excursions arranged with ease, and were able to enjoy a stress free and wonderful vacation every minute of the trip! Simply Amazing! What an experience!!
I wanted to take the time to write about our experience recently with Jen and her team including this magnificent property! We are lucky to offer our family experiences and Costa Rica hit the mark! The home is not beachfront, IT’s IN THE BEACH!! During high tide seeing the waves come to the steps and crash against the deck area was just awesome! The house is immaculate and maintained by amazing staff who were kind and gracious to our family. We didn’t want to venture with little kids into town for meals so Chef Jose had helped with magnificent meals all day during our stay! This was by far one of our most amazing family trips and we all throughly enjoyed the visit. Many thanks to Jen and Team for flawlessly coordinating every detail of the visit. This is beyond all inclusive! It is PURA VIDA! Until next time!!

Costa Rican paradise!
What a fabulous property in an ideal location! We had 9 people comfortably enjoy this gorgeous house for 8 days after Christmas. Everything you could ever want out of a vacation, this was. Neatled into the lush greenery at the southernmost end of Jaco beach, it was quite peaceful with stunning views. The grounds are immaculately kept and the 24 hour house staff was unbelieveably helpful with everything from taxis to laundry. The house is just a short taxi ride from delicious restaurants in town and conveniently located just a few steps from a neighboring resort if you need a quick bite. The owners were incredibly helpful in booking tours, arranging airport transfers, and recommending dining choices. If you are looking for someplace to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee in the morning as you watch an iguana climb the palm tree or having a cold Imperial Silver as the surf crashed at the afternoon sunset, this is your place. My only problem is that I can only give this review 5 stars and not 10. Thank you for a vacation and memories for our family that will last a lifetime. The Blalock's and Rosebush's

Jen, my only complaint was the refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen wasn't working properly. The ice-maker never seemed to produce ice like should, and the refrigerator portion didn't keep the beverages very cold. We did notice on the freezer side, that isn't wasn't sealing properly when the door was shut, so water was leaking out of the bottom. I would definitely look into getting someone out there to do a routine maintenance and look over the entire unit. Other than that, we had a great time. The on-site staff were very accommodating when we needed something, and the location was perfect! The general consensus from all the guys, is they would definitely come back. We had great time! The perfect place to relax and learn to surf! Absolutely would rent again!!
Excellent communication with the owner who helped us to navigate all the finer points of traveling during COVID and with a list of activities, restaurants and chefs. Fabian is your transport guy and having Marisol cook on arrival day is key! She also cooked us a great brunch for after surfing! If you are wanting to learn to surf, this is the place! Tigre and Gilbert of Tigre's Bob Marley Surf School is The Best! They began instruction on our back patio and we walked right out the back gate to the ocean and ages 17 to 50+ were all successful! The only negative is that a lot of loud trucks pass on the road on the back side of the house and the appliances are needing updated. - the dishwasher doesn't work, stovetop heats wonky, grill overheats and only the top coil heats on the countertop oven. Fortunately Marta is there daily to help keep all clean! Also most want to be paid in cash/dollars so bring a lot more than you think you need (plus tips for many). There is an ATM in Mas por Menos grocery (excellent place to shop) that gives you dollars but that was $10 in fees per several chunks of money withdrawn. Downtown Jaco is easy to get to with many great restaurants! You will love it!

This place is AMAZING!!!
I 'm not the type that posts reviews, but when I do it's either very bad or absolutely AMAZING.. The house, location and staff was beyond amazing and deserve the highest of reviews. Here's what we loved about this house: 1) Location: doesn't get better, it's located on the south end of Jaco Beach with amazing views, no neighbors, lots of privacy and right on the beach. Getting to the house was very easy and it was only a quick 5 min drive or a nice 20 min walk on the beach to the town. 10/10! 2) Cleanness: The house was SPOTLESS! All of the furniture, sheets, furnishings, appliances are brand new.. Not to mention that there was a maid available that cleaned and even did our laundry daily. 3) The house: This house is HUGE! We were a party of 10 and had plenty of space. The bathrooms are larger than my Chicago apartment. Everything has been recently remodeled and you can tell that no expense has been spared. The are 2 master bedrooms/suites, each with a private bathroom (we had to fight for them) and 3 other decent size bedrooms also with private bathrooms. The private patio over looking the private beach is breath taking! The house has all modern creature comforts with AC, American Cable, even a safe. 4) The service: Huge shout out to Nate, Stephanie, our security guard Padro and our maid Marta. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. They made us feel like royalty, we are very thankful to have them! Whatever you needed, they made it happen.. Transportation, food, booking adventures, doing your laundry, grocery shopping.. anything! Without this A team, our trip wouldn't have been as enjoyable.. Thank you for all your services! I can't wait to be back!!!!

Every step of the way the Vrbo app was easy to use and communicate with the property manager. Making payments through the app was simple with a credit card. The staff, Palo, our night security guard a true gentleman. He was respectful of our privacy as well as keeping us all safe while we slept. Marta our house maid is such a sweet lady. Marta does an excellent job of keeping the beach towels fresh, your personal laundry cleaned and dried, rooms made up daily if you want and all the common areas squeaky clean. Tigar is the surf school instructor and works for the property manager. Tigar is great he was our local guide! Having lived in Jaco for the last thirty years he knows everyone any everything about Jaco. If you need or want anything just ask Tigar! My family loved all the staff, including the chefs, so we invited them all to share our meals and adopted them all into our family. If fishing is what you want, captain Roberto and deck hand Alex on the Fish Bones launch on the beach in front of the house an off you go. They put fish in the box!! We had plenty of Bonita and Hamachi sashimi as well as fried and baked red snapper. We hired chef Diego and Melbe to cook our meals and it was amazing!! You tell chef want you want for breakfast lunch and dinner. He and his staff do all the shopping, prep, cook and clean up after each meal. Absolutely worth it!! At the end of each day the chef shows you the grocery receipts and the total for the chef services and you pay in dollars or colenes. Be sure to bring cash with you. The banks and ATMs have very strange rules and limits on what you can withdraw per day. With all that said our family made life long memories and friends while staying in Jaco. We will be back. It really is Pura Vida, the good life!!
