"We only were able to stay in the area for 1 night but hillside haven was idyllic. The adults enjoyed the spacious kitchen and back deck and the kids really loved the arcade games and backyard. My family met up with my brother and his wife and the suite above the garage was the perfect space. The hosts have literally thought of ALL the extras (shout out to the makeup wipes and Qtips!) and were very easy to get a hold of if we needed anything or had any questions. 10/10 would return…. Hopefully for longer! "

"Everything about this house was wonderful. Clearly an old, well loved house with lots of thoughtful touches and something for everyone. Toys for the kids! Magazines for the adults! A working fireplace for achy grandpa bones! The kitchen is very complete and has everything you need to make a meal. The bedding is super comfortable and the quilts are soft and cloud like. Couldn’t recommend more highly!"

"Did a ski weekend with a bunch of friends, the house was perfect, the character of the place and unique styling of each room was super fun, the hot tub was actually HOT, which was impressive for how cold it was outside. The house used to be an old bed and breakfast and it lends itself beautifully to being a VRBO for a large group. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back and rent again! "

"Every year we take a family ski vacation. Our kids ages are 21/2, 6, 14, 15 and 16. There was plenty enough to do for each of them. The house has 3 levels and is comfortable, quiet and cozy. The surrounding wooded property was enjoyed by our dogs and allowed us to snowshoe everyday while the others were at Mt Snow. Brian was very responsive and accommodating.I really appreciated the clear and concise labels and instructions on things from the remotes to the community pantry. The kitchen was well stocked. Linens n towels were plentiful as were paper goods. Although it was too cold and wintry to use, there was an inviting front porch, deck and downstairs patio which would all be wonderful weather permitting. Due to the location WiFi can be spotty but was a blessing in disguise! We had one of the best ski trips ever! Thank you to Brian for all the inviting, warm touches that made settling in so easy! "

The location is perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and enjoying rural VT. Everything about the stay was positive and we plan to return. "
