"There needs to be a handrail for the steps to the porch. There are five steps and no handrail. Elderly people need a handrail to safely navigate the steps and probably required by building code."

"We stayed five nights to attend wedding festivities for my daughter in Ohatchee. The home was exceptionally comfortable and within a few steps of the lake. The view is enough to enjoy a stay without ever leaving the property. Owners are amazing and easily accessible to answer questions. Check in and check out was “easy-peazy” as a wise woman said. I would go back if only to recharge and refresh. A fully stocked kitchen was dreamy for a cook."

"Very nice, unique place. Very clean. Bring some chairs if you want to sit out on the porch (the porch chairs in the property picture weren't there). We didn't sleep there our second night, the bed is very close to the ceiling, this isn't anything negative but my wife is claustrophobic and couldn't sleep the first night. Overall the property was awesome, check in and check out very easy."

"Came in for a funeral which was in Heflin, so it was very convenient seeing friends and family from the area. The place was very clean. We were in need of nothing and they were very accommodating when asked if we could have a few people over in the evening."
