"熱川おおるりにも宿泊しましたが、総合的にこちらの方が良かったです。食材に大差はないものの、収容者数が少ないためバイキング会場がそれほど混み合わないし、開始時間に遅れてもそこそこ食材にもありつける。朝食時にジュースサーバーが使えるのも良い。自動おしぼり機でないのでストレスがない。子供には最初から子供用の椅子が用意してある心遣いがある・・・と、熱川おおるりとの比較でコメントしてみました。"

"So the few things I did not like where the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the onsen water was hot enough to burn me (the rock onsen at the bottom) and the pool closed SOOOO early that we didn’t get to experience it at all. I paid a lot of money for that hotel and then didn’t even get to experience the pool. But the staff was very accommodating and made great efforts to speak English to us. "

"Up a steep drive to a welcome that every traveller looks forward to. Warm, honest in a beautiful house with views over the sea to die for. This family hotel treats you like a member of the family and is there when needed but leaves you to enjoy your holiday. We even were given a lift to a local restaurant for our evening meal. "My spouse and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Izukyu! I'm already planning to come back later in the summer. My Japanese is limited so we really appreciated the staff doing their best to explain policies in English. We stayed in a Japanese style room, it was huge and had everything we needed and more - and the view of the ocean was fantastic! We also took advantage of the private onsen, highly recommend. Buffet breakfast had a ton of great options, and we appreciated how large the dining room...
