Extremely clean, newly removed room. Very comfortable bed. The couple that run the place were very welcoming and pleasant. Simple accommodations, but everything you need. And pristine cleanliness.

The hotel was convenient, clean and quiet. Although some of the rooms were being renovated, this didn't negatively impact our experience. The staff and owners were very helpful and friendly. They apologized several times for the renovations and were very welcoming. We would stay at this property again.

My wife and I stayed here because we travel for work. Check in was super quick and easy, staff was nice, our room was clean, comfortable and it was a quiet place. We were satisfied with our stay and will return when in town. It was budget friendly and served the purpose for our 3 night stay. They are actively renovating but it wasn’t loud or noisy.

New owners trying and restoring an Ithaca area "landmark" and doing well. If you're looking for lodging with all the bells and whistles... keep scrolling. If you're looking for affordable, safe, quiet, clean lodging close to Cornell and the Ithaca area the Embassy is the one. I have to return to the area soon and will be staying there if there are vacancies.

It’s a nice motel with car parking next to your room door. I had one small room with one bed and the shower there was very tiny in the shape of triangle. Even for a slim person not comfortable to use. Everything small in the room and bathroom. Door lock is the regulator key, I think it’s not very safe.

Good but recommend AC on for reserved guests
New owners so they are in the process of improving the place. My main thing is after being on the road for hours and having done a full campus tour before that. I was having headache from altitude changes and just wanted to rest in the room, but it was HOT! They hadn’t turned the AC on so we had to leave for the room to cool down. My suggestion would be if you know someone is going to be checking into that room, then make sure to have the AC on even at low setting will feel so much better.

The room was dirty and unkept. There were broken towel latches on the bathroom door and bad wear (that looked like black mold) on the wallpaper around the hinges from the room door. There were bugs crawling and living in the room (2 spiders, moth, beetle). The room did not have a microwave. Housekeeping did change the trash can bags and towels daily, but the floor was not vacuumed and very dirty after our multiple day visit. There were renovations being done on the rooms at the end of our building and could be heard as early as 9am. The staff was friendly, but rarely was present. Overall, our stay was very disappointing and would not recommend.
