"We had the best time in Lazise. Beauftiful small town - very idyllic. House was just 2 min walk to all major restaurants, shops etc. The VRBO description is accurate. You sleep in one tower and then you walk through a lemon garden to the living quarters. In the sleeping tower you will have Wifi - in the living quarters not (however, you can use your phone as a hot spot). The house is very simple furnished. Anna - the owner - was very welcoming and responded very quickly to each inquiry we had....

"We had a wonderful stay at Cristina's place in Sirmione. It was around 15 mins walk to the Castle & Sirmione old town, so perfect to explore this area of Lake Garda. The apartment was quiet, calm and a lovely (air-conned) sanctuary with a private (shared) access to the lake to swim, which we really enjoyed. Parking isn't available on-site but you can pay to park at a hotel 5 mins down the road, which was really good for Sirmione (all the other carparks were full). The apartment was lovely and...

"Lovely cottage on the hillside overlooking Menaggio and Lake Como. Everything you need is there. Deborah was very helpful, answering all questions. Walks from the cottage were lovely and the fenced in garden was great for our dog. Two or three local restaurants also within walking distance. Weather was fabulous too, even the lightning storm one night!"

It was around 10min walk from the main train station which we did easily with our luggage. "This hotel had an amazing atmosphere and a great location to old town. The hotel itself is magnificent with a lot of options and beautiful location. The only downfall we encountered was the room was too hot when we asked to lower the temperature they unlocked it, but the room was still so hot that we could not sleep. The vent was actually pushing out hot air. They have notices to avoid having windows open because of bugs but our choice was essentially bugs or melt. Aside from this, it was a beautiful hotel, all staff were very friendly, and the location is the best for views and walkability to the top views. Highly recommend but maybe ask for a fan in your room at night. "
