Hôtel fermé depuis un mois
Nous avons trouvé portes closes lorsque nous nous sommes présentés à 19h à l’hôtel Villas Las Delfines à Holbox. Nous nous sommes donc retrouvés sans hébergement nous et nos enfants (7 et 9 ans), sans support (pas de réponse Expédia à 19h heure México / 2h Paris) et avons donc eu droit à de bonnes heures de stress et de galère. J’ai réservé cet hôtel sur Expédia le 17 juin 2018. Renseignements pris auprès des hôtels voisins , Il est fermé et à l’abandon depuis plus d’un mois. J’aI réussi à trouver un hôtel et envoyé un mail le lendemain : reçu une réponse laconique de renvoi vers un service client. Ils m’indiquent qu’ils doivent vérifier que l’hotel est bien fermé avant de me rembourser (ce qu’une recherche sur internet confirme en moins d’une minute). Une bonne idée aurait été de faire cette vérification avant de vendre cette prestation... Non professionnel.

En lidt kedelig ferieoplevelse
Hotellet blev markedsført som bæredygtigt, med økotoilet etc. men var i dårlig forfatning. Søde medarbejdere med fantastisk beliggenhed. På 3.dagen af de 10 dage vi havde booket, blev alle gæster kørt til andet hotel, da ejeren havde tabt retssagen om ejerskabet idet området blev besat af politiet..

Quiet Beachfront Getaway
We loved staying at Villa Delfines because of its quiet low key atmosphere, its rustic charm and low density. Situated in a well manicured garden, on a perfect stretch of sandy beach the 20 palapa roofed cabins are very spacious and charmingly rustic in all the right ways. There's lots of space, privacy and quiet unlike the congested resorts along the beach. It also seems to attract other travelers ( many Europeans) who are quiet and low key....no party-animals. We tend to prefer simplicity, space, privacy and quiet to the thumping beat of techno music and over-styled mod-cons at the other newer, more congested resorts. We spent our days relaxing on the clean and comfy loungers and hammocks under the shade of the palapas between swims. We lunched at Montaray Beach club next door everyday on it's delicious grilled fish ( with garlic and spices) chased down with a cervesa. In the early evenings we enjoyed a 1km stroll into town to watch the sunset on the beach, eat dinner, have drinks and take in the live music and people watching in the vibrant town. How refreshing that behind the veneer of tourist row , the town still has neighbourhoods that haven't been Disneyfied! It was the perfect vacation and we were so grateful to have found this place to stay! Oh and my initial reservations about the composting toilets disappeared, they are super clean and have ventilation so don't at all smell.

Hotel med smuk udsigt
Dejligt hotel med virkelig perfekt placering. Stranden er fantastisk. Hytten er perfekt med hyggelig veranda med hængekøjer. Super venlig ansatte og okay morgenmad. Poolen kunne være renere, men da vi spurgte om de kunne rense den, blev det klaret. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Excelente atención. El hotel es muy bonito. Te sientes en un ambiente natural, lleno de plantas y paisaje inmejorable, frente a la playa. Mención especial a las atenciones del Sr. Abraham, en la recepción del hotel, además por sus comentarios orientadores para acudir a lugares recomendables.

Great eco hotel right on the beach
Great location, a short walk down the beach from the downtown core. The individual cabins allow for great privacy and are spacious and comfortable. The composting toilets and solar heated showers demonstrate the hotel's committment to lessening their impact on this beautiful island.

en desventaja en cuanto relacion precio/valor
el baño sigue siendo algo impactante, entiendo que es rustico y sustentable pero sigue siendo impactante, no huele ni nada y ya despus de un tiempo te acostumbras holbox es tambien la isla mosquito, asegurence de cerrar todo bien por que si no no duermen, no tiene aire acondicionado solo ventiladores que no son sificientes aunque sean 3 por habitacion, la regaderas de caracol nunca han sido mi hit, siempre siento que sale el agua con olor cuando se usan conchas de caracol naturales. la alberca bien, el servicio lento, pero en general asi es holbox. la playa bien cruzando la calle, pero bien, la verdad se me hizo caro por lo que recibi. no tiene wifi y si lo tiene no es confiable nunca pudimos usarlo

HOTEL NO RECOMENDABLE
Hotel con lo mínimo de comodidad, puede ser un hotel ecologista, pero es necesario que por lo que cobran, inviertan en personal y en varias cosas de comodidad para los usuarios, en cuestión del paso a la habitación es necesario mejorar o poner algo mas que una tina de agua para que no se llene de arena la habitación y toda el área de la terraza. El baño así sea ecológico es muy incomodo. La regadera es un caracol que aunque pueda decirse que son aprovechable todos los recursos naturales, para un hotel ecológico, es lo mas incomodo que conozco de regadera, ademas solo hay agua caliente en las tardes ya que trabaja con energía de celdas solares, el agua en la mañana es fría. Lo mejor es tener el mar cerca, pero eso lo tienen todos los hoteles, deberían de poner algunos camastros en la playa con servicio de mesero como lo hay en otros hoteles. Falta personal y falta mucha inversión.
