From what little we saw, it seems like a lovely place to stay, but we cannot give too detailed a review as we only lasted one night due to being kept awake by the loudest clubbing music you can imagine, even with ear plugs in, we gave up trying to sleep and went for a walk until 4 am until it stopped....however, the glorious beach right outside the room became a hang out for drunk clubbers to carry on the drinking! We found another hotel approx 25 minutes walk up the beach, which was far enough away to not hear the music. We have been told that it is not normally this bad as it was a bank holiday weekend, and to be fair, the club did seem quieter for the rest of our stay on holbox, but be warned check this out before booking! The hotel had no problem with us cancelling the booking, and they seemed to act as if it were a more common problem that frustrated them equally. Also other guests didn't seem too bothered about it. The other issue is the back of the hotel overlooks (literally 1.0 metered over a chain fence) a very run down shanty town looking collection of buildings, and people were there working during the day - not exactly a spa experience!
