"The location of this property is gorgeous and the home is reasonably comfortable. If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. Having grandchildren playing on the deck, with sliding glass door viewing into the shower, is not ideal. We read the reviews and brought our own curtain to cover the window. We left them behind so maybe the owner...

"Over all the property was exactly as expected. Very comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is wonderful and very well equipped. The arcade games were a big hit with the kids. Our only complaint is that the lower level and the two main floor bedrooms were very cold. Some rooms only reaching around 60 degrees, sometimes only in the 50’s. Super cold weekend so maybe.this is to be expected. Maybe some space heaters?? Overall we loved the house!"

The house was the ideal size, isolated enough but close enough to Ely or Tower if we needed anything. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing, long weekend. "We had a super relaxing time at Northwind Lodge. Our cabin was right on the water and very private. The allowed use of the pontoon and the kayaks/canoes was a nice touch. This is a very vintage and laid back experience which is exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay again."

"The cabin was nice and we liked that it was next to water. There are just a few things that we weren't impressed with. When we arrived the driveway wasn't plowed and the deck wasn't shoveled. As much as we paid for 2 nights I would think this would be done. Another thing is that the security camera that is outside of the house is setup to where you can see it inside the house.. If you can see the camera the camera can see you. So if you walk out of the bedroom naked, they are going to see you....
