"Lovely hotel ideal for a romantic night or 2 away in lovely grounds, i was greeted on my arrival by a hooting owl which made it that bit more special plus it was a cold clear night with very little light pollution so made it nice for star gazing."

"Lovely location right by the river. Hotel is spotless and staff were all very helpful although it was understaffed for demand at the bar with long queues because of the glorious weather. Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. Would recommend this hotel. "

"I’ve stayed here before and the rooms have always been comfortable although a little chilly and I still haven’t worked out how to use the heating. The food has improved and breakfast was a real delight "
