"We had a wonderful stay whilst attending a concert at Bedford Park. The hotel was in walking distance to Bedford Park and was very well placed for various amenities. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and clean, we very impressed! The only disappointment was that we were unable to order room service after waiting on hold for 20 mins without anyone picking up the phone. We did use the spa during our stay and it was a lovely relaxing environment with a pool with jets, one sauna and two steam rooms. I would recommend having someone at the desk at check in times as we were waiting for 5-10 minutes before someone came to check us in. I wouldn't visit the hotel for the spa, but it certainly was a nice bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay and I would look to stay here again if travelling to Bedford in the future. "

"We stayed here for 3 nights. This hotel was more expensive than the other hotel option in the city center, but was also a nicer, historic hotel with a pub, restaurant, and breakfast hall. The rooms are a little older, but comfortable and clean. We had 2 twins, giving us ample space for sleeping, but probably less place for luggage (we had a lot because we were touring the UK on a 2 week trip). The bathroom was fine, with a shower/tub combo and good storage in a drawer under the sink. We asked for a quiet room and were given #74, I believe. It was upstairs, and away from the hotel restaurant and a lively club next door. The breakfast hall, included with our stay, was ok, but nothing too extraordinary. It offered typical English breakfast foods, plus yogurt and fruit. Come early for the best selection, as the orange juice seemed to run out before closing, and seating was sparse on Saturday morning. The fault I could find was the coffee in the breakfast hall, which came with lots of grounds floating in it. One tip, the discount store next door has anything you would need like toiletries, and over the counter medications, as well as bottled water, for a great price. "

"Great find, a beautiful view from the room. Very well appointed room with all necessary facilities including hairdryer and iron. A little warm in the room but a fan was provided, would have liked a thinner bed sheet however as quite hot. Very comfortable and well maintained room Ate in adjoining restaurant, nice food and good prices, nice to have 20% off due to staying at hotel. Only downside was being charged an extra £1 for a small amount of Nann bread to go with my meal and only offering large drinks. "

"Position in relation to the coach station is brilliant, one can walk around the corner. Clean and great one can check out at 12. After travelling for more than 25hrs checking out at 12 is great."
