"The chapel has been converted with some style into a well equipped, luxurious and spacious 6 bedroomed residence. It is located close to the pretty Derbyshire Peak District and was perfect for our family birthday celebration weekend. If only the weather has been as good!"

"Overall a lovely property in a great location. Points to think of - garden is small & no grassy area for dogs. Stairs need a second rail as one area cannot be held onto. Lounge has a fire that you can't use - why? Replace it with one that you can ? Torch would be useful First aid kit needed In house instruction manual with local info would have been great? Rugs all need a good clean. Well stocked property in a lovely village. Just a couple of things that we thought of. "

"Great for our party of 13 as there was plenty of room for us all and the kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment ,plates and glasses etc. Some of the rooms and areas look a bit tired and could do with an upgrade (stair carpets, walls painting and floors could be cleaner downstairs) but bathrooms clean and beds comfy. it’s also great to have the farm shop and the pub next door is great - very friendly and helpful and lovely pub meal and service."

"Booked to stay for 1 night after a trip to Alton Towers. It's a shame we didn't stay for longer as the kids absolutely loved it - particularly the garden which was packed with things for them to do, including a zip line. Would definitely recommend for families and groups of friends with kids."

"This is not a 1 bedroom house as advertised. It’s a roadside shed with a pullout sofa. That you cannot walk around when extended to a bed. I have been emailing the host and management company since checkin time nearly a week ago with no response."

"This is an excellent property. The house is outstanding and complemented by an excellent location in easy walking distance of Buxton Town Centre. This was a special holiday for us celebrating, a golden wedding and a 70th birthday during the year. "The house was fantastic, well kept and clean. It was spacious for my family of 4. The location is quiet and within a walking distance from the main street. It is better to rent a car of course, and there is a private parking. The owner is very responsive and it was a wonderful stay. "
