"Cottage was clean and well presented with lots of extra touches. Netflix was a bonus! Unfortunately the management company let down the whole experience. Security deposit required prior to releasing check in information, and we emailed them when we found a mouse in the property but they failed to respond. Also the cleaner was waiting for us to leave which wasn’t great! Parking is limited but luckily we found a space on arrival. Dog friendly but be aware no enclosed yard and dogs are not...

"We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink."

"Booked to stay for 1 night after a trip to Alton Towers. It's a shame we didn't stay for longer as the kids absolutely loved it - particularly the garden which was packed with things for them to do, including a zip line. Would definitely recommend for families and groups of friends with kids."

"It was okay just a few constructive comments, 1 no toilet paper in Brothers toilet, 2 Coffee, Sugar, Tea tins need refilling 3 , Window Sills could have done with a clean apart from these items all was ok and the Host was very pleasant"

"This is not a 1 bedroom house as advertised. It’s a roadside shed with a pullout sofa. That you cannot walk around when extended to a bed. I have been emailing the host and management company since checkin time nearly a week ago with no response."

"This is an excellent property. The house is outstanding and complemented by an excellent location in easy walking distance of Buxton Town Centre. This was a special holiday for us celebrating, a golden wedding and a 70th birthday during the year. A rare chance to get most of the family together to mark this special year spanning three generations from 74yrs to 5 months it was perfect. Thank you Susan."

"Beautiful cottage and in a lovely village that was located perfectly for where we wanted to visit Milk , fresh eggs and a yummy cake left for us which we thought was more than thoughtful!"

"The house was a great space to have all the family and they could come and go as they pleased, Ben the owner was great on answering any queries before we arrived. We had no issues during our stay. Location is 5 minutes walk from the town centre, would definitely recommend if you need a large house."
