"Nice spacious room, clean, with a good shower. Decent size TV. Breakfast ,lots of different options but hot options were not refilled enough to keep all topped up. Coffee machine was not good and was serving luke warm beverages. "

"Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. Great Stay with a Minor Parking Issue

"We had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel du Vin in Exeter. The breakfasts were excellent, and we enjoyed delicious drinks and nibbles at the bar while staying warm by the wood burner. The location is great—an easy walk into town—and the overall atmosphere was lovely. However, there was one frustration with the hotel’s parking system. We had reserved a spot, which was great when we arrived as our name was displayed clearly. But when we returned in the evening, someone else had parked in our space. Unfortunately, the hotel was unable to assist and suggested we park in someone else's reserved spot. I would suggest the hotel implement a better system perhaps a parking pass system. Additionally, a polite notice could be placed on the windscreen of any car parked in a reserved spot, explaining that the parking is reserved. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay."
