"If you want a family holiday up to 9 people in South Devon in the Countryside, staying in a traditional thatched cottage, then this is the place for you. Amazing character set in a beautiful village location, close to all the beaches for the children but far enough away from the crowds and traffic in August. "Check-in was at the bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There's limited on street parking but I was lucky enough to a space right outside. The food in the bar/restaurant looked superb and it was fairly busy when I got there, however I didn't try the food as I already had other plans for the evening. "The staff was friendly and quickly filled our requests. The gardens have great potential,however, we were there before the full season. Loved seeing the beautiful old Bentley's. The full English breakfast was bounteous and very good. We enjoyed making a cup of coffee in the evening in our room.
