Lack of communication led us to have a car in the garage while work was done in it and we were told we could not leave with the vehicle as it would damage the work. "Sebastian did an outstanding job in answering all of my questions and remaining flexible with payment whilst I sorted out my bank accounts (make sure your credit cards have pins!). I was initially concerned about having a 2 bedroom apartment but I did well with having 3 nights to myself and 3 nights with a couple of Asian guys who were fun. The quality of the room is very average and the bed and linen could do with an upgrade and the kitchen a thorough clean but the apartment is lovely and large...

"Je ne suis pas resté car je ne me suis pas senti accueilli. Ils m’ fait attendre plus d’ demi-heure dans le hall d’entr sans pouvoir me donner l’assurance que j’allais pouvoir rester. Ils ont prétendu que je n’ pas de réservation. J’ai dû marcher avec mes valises pour me trouver un hôtel après avoir passé 8h30 dans un avion. La publicité est trompeuse dans le site web. C’est présenté comme un hôtel mais cela ne semble pas un à l’entréè. Ils prétendent que le déjeuner est inclus, je ne vois...

"I rate this property as average because in all honesty, it's not shown as it really looks in real life, you'll be staying at the oldest building in the area, even though you're in the best area for beaches and restaurants, consider that you'll get what you're paying for. We had a misunderstanding with the check in so i recommend having your schedule well planned out. Relax and enjoy the view.

"The hotel is classically beautiful with its spacious rooms, colourfully and tastefully decorated. I'm not surprised many celebrities have stayed there! The bed is super comfortable and the blackout blinds left all the day light outside so we could have a nice lie in the next morning. The hotel is super clean and tidy. They offer you a glass of champagne upon arrival making you feel very welcomed. The staff are really friendly and helpful, they go an extra mile to ensure you're satisfied. The pool area is just gorgeous with the colourful parasols contrasting with the pure white of the building around it! Very romantic. The location is wonderful, you just have to cross the road to be at the iconic Copacabana beach. It was throughout a fantastic experience and we'd love to be back again soon. "

"Chose this hotel for the area and view over the harbour and sugar loaf mountain. Hotel itself is next to the domestic airport so ideal for travellers which made it quite a busy hotel. It has plenty of amenities onsite and close by. There is a rooftop pool and restaurant (with views to die for), a gym and nearby shops and alternate eateries. The rooms are modern and comfortable with a fully stocked fridge and plenty of space for luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful despite being busy. The breakfast was amazing with a huge choice to suit all. Some parakeets came to visit in the morning too which were lovely to see as well as a few other birds but didn’t cause any problems. Would highly recommend both for convenience to the airport and area"
