"B&B Ca' Viro was a truly great find. We arrived by bus (from Sondrio train station) which dropped us right outside the front door - all for the measly sum of €2 each. Our room was wonderful and better than expected. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent. "The ambience of the property and grounds was beautiful. We were just disappointed with the breakfast. It didn’t feel like a luxury experience for the price of the stay. There was no fresh bread or croissants and the choice was otherwise quite limited. I requested a gluten free breakfast but was offered rice cakes and gluten free cup cakes whereas hotels normally provide gluten free bread or rolls for breakfast. "Our stay was amazing. We got in late so just went right to sleep but when we woke up and went downstairs to the cafe it was perfect. We started with cappuccino, fresh squeezed orange juice and croissants and finished with ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Guillano and the rest of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. "Wonderful bed and breakfast. Andrea and his family were incredible hosts. They saved us a perfect parking spot right outside and provided excellent recommendations for the area including dining which was very good. Room was clean and spacious and we slept very well. "We absolutely loved this place. It was cosy, comfortable, wonderful people who run it. We had a disaster with car rental after a delayed flight and the hosts couldn’t have been more kind and understanding. It’s so chilled, welcoming, beautiful and peaceful.
