"This place is fine. We arrived in mid-September, so that may have affected our experience. The rooms were fine. It's a place to stay. It is an easy walk to the few shops and restaurants and a nice hike to the park. Dining had limited options, especially for breakfast. Park tour buses stop here, which is also a plus. "We were only going to stay one night just to cross country ski, but it was so quiet and relaxing in the small town of Talkeetna we decided to stay a week. Rooms are very clean and everything is in walking distance, amazing view of Denali, plus the added bonus was seeing the northern lights. "
