"My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. Would only have to comment on the light shining through the bathroom window all night from the storage area outside, and the shower cubicle wasn't very clean (moldy grout, mold on shower fittings), but the room itself was very modern and warm. We stayed in room 9, which was dog friendly. It was located on the ground floor, right near the entrance to the pub, I was worried we would be able to hear everything going on but I can't say that...

"First time stopping here, beautiful location, very friendly/ warm welcome , the room is 4/5 star, lovely decoration , everything you need , extremely clean and comfy bed, dined in the restaurant for evening meal and the food was huge portion and delicious, I had the steak and ale pie, my colleague the Steak , both plates polished off .i tend to go for hotel chains normally but stopping at the Ribchester arms has certainly opened my eyes to something better, without doubt if I get the chance...

"This hotel was fabulous. A lovely room with a fantastic view. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors. A lovely breakfast to start the day. We were lucky that when we got back to the hotel after our friends daughters wedding reception we were treated to live folk music in a well stocked bar. A lovely relaxing end to a delightful day"
