"The hotel is in a lovely historic building on the waterfront. The room was very comfortable, convenient, very centrally located, with a seriously delicious and abundant continental breakfast. I arrived by train from Rome in the evening and decided to try to walk from the station to the hotel, but ended up getting lost. I called the Savoia and the night concierge, Ludivicio, called a taxi to collect me. I was so impressed! Trieste is a beautiful city and I had such a good time walking around, looking at the historic buildings and streets. There is also a large Eataly very close to the hotel."

"This hotel was only for one night but very nice and quiet. I was pleased with everything. One of the most important was the breakfast in the morning. If you went away from this breakfast hungary or felt it didnt have what you liked, its your own fault. The City hotel had the BEST breakfast offered at a hotel in my 59 years. This place was AWESOME for breakfast and the food was delicious. Keep up the good work and the FOOD !!! Thank you"

There was a good place to eat right across the street, and a grocery store around the corner. We only stayed one night but would have booked again if they had vacancies."

"My room was spacious, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a large bar/lounge area at the top of the hotel with a very pleasant rooftop terrace. Very well situated - easily walkable both to the bus/train stations and the main tourist area."
