"We read about the stairs going up to the apartment and planned our luggage accordingly. I can see how some unprepared travelers may find this issue insurmountable as we climbed about 5 sets of stairs. Once inside the main Red Door the vacation will begin. "The room was nice and clean; the owner seemed a little put out at first because Expedia had overbooked us and she didn’t seem to happy. When we asked her about coffee in the morning she looked at us like we’d lost our mind! It all turned out fine and she had coffee for us in the morning for a small charge. The hotel is beautiful and I wonder what the spa services would be like. We weren’t given any options to utilize them."

"We stayed a week at the perfectly located Villa Atlanta and it was great. This villa is associated with the Hotel Excelsior two doors down and hence, you do your check in/out there but this was easy. In fact, the benefits are that you get use their facilities (pool, towels, spa, gym, etc)! We had the suite with the upstairs bedroom overlooking the sea and it was very spacious and clean. My only complaint would be that the upstairs AC didn’t work as well as the downstairs one but it wasn’t that...
